Transmission Filtration

The transmission filter ensures that the oil circulating in the transmission and other power transmission components is protected from particles and other debris. However, over time, it becomes clogged due to dirt and debris and becomes unable to do its job. When the filter becomes clogged, adequate fluid flow cannot be achieved, resulting in a low fluid pressure condition. If you notice a problem with your vehicle's performance, the filter may have started to clog and restrict fluid flow.
